Since late 2007 every home put on the market, no matter what size, must have a Home Information Pack.
What is a HIP?
For most properties a HIP will consist of the following:
- An energy performance certificate (EPC)
- A local search
- A drainage search
- A copy of the title to the property, together with a plan
- An index
- A sales statement
- For leasehold properties — a copy of the lease
How much will a HIP cost?
Our current charges are £370 including VAT.
