How AI is becoming the greatest aid in the legal practice

There has been a lot of talk of around AI recently and how this technology can be used to effectively assist the work force. Many see this new technology as something to be feared, however at Taylors Legal we have been using AI for many years and have spent time harnessing this technology to help with the day-to-day operations and administrative tasks of the firm.

As early adopters of this technology we knew that AI would be beneficial in moving the firm into the future, by providing draft papers, to form completion, as well as analytics to offer insights into client behaviour, needs and preferences.

We are proud to say that “our bot” has increased efficiency, accuracy and speed within our day-to-day tasks, freeing up more time for staff to focus on more complex and strategic aspects of work.

Many may argue that the AI technology poses a threat to the work force, by replacing staff with “a bot” which is often a much cheaper option. There is an argument that we can feed “the bot” with more and more information, however we know the importance of first-hand knowledge and experience and have found the balance of retaining all support staff and legal staff alongside our “bot”.

Taylors Legal ensure that all administrative tasks are performed by our support staff and that you will never speak to a robot but a real person, as this personal experience is the very heart of what we offer here at Taylors Legal.

We believe that strong client service will always be our main priority and that our investment into new technologies, such as our online case management system and Identification checks offers our client remote access to their cases 24 hours a day, as well as a brand-new online payment function which offers easy and instant paying options.

Whilst we have embraced this new technology, we have ensured there is a failsafe option. The challenge is to ensure this technology can validate information across different sets of information across the workflow and then proceed with the next actionable steps. We are thrilled to say, that this aspect has been cracked by us, thereby lending credence to our motto of combining speed with accuracy towards servicing our clients.
